  1. Entry Fee. $30 per player per Event. Entries are valid only when made on the Official Entry Form and accompanied by the prescribed fee. TATT registration for 2006 is required.

  1. Closing date/ Draw. Entries close on Friday 29th September, at 5 pm, at the tournament site, the Public Courts.

The draw for the Qualifying will be made on Wednesday 4th October 2006, to play on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th October. Starting at 9 am.

The Draws for the main Events will be done on Tuesday 10th October, at 5 pm., at the Tournament Director’s residence.

Main Draws’ starts on Saturday 14th October 2006 and ends on 28th October 2006...

  1. Open Competition/Age Limitations. Entry is restricted to residents of Trinidad & Tobago. The Veterans’ Singles entries must be 45 years and over. For purpose of this Rule, the Player’s age as of the first day of the tournament, shall be used.

Players are allowed to enter a maximum of three (3) events.

  1. Site Details.  The Championships will be played on the Public Courts, Princess Building Grounds, Dupres Drive, Port of Spain.
  2. Match Conditions. Main Draws will be limited to the following size draws:

Excess entries will be placed in a Qualifying Draw. For the Men’s Singles, the required number of qualifiers will be 8; all other Events will be 4 qualifiers. 

Dunlop balls will be used.

Match Format. The Qualifying will be the Best of 17 Games, with a Tie-Break at 8-8. All Main Draw matches will be the Best of three Tie-Break Sets. Play shall continue under lights.

    6.  The Committee reserves the right to withhold prize money/trophies when players are absent          from the prize-giving ceremony.

  1. This Competition shall take place in accordance with these Regulations and the Rules of Tennis (which includes the ITF’s Code of Conduct), adopted by the ITF.  For the benefit of new entrants, (and a reminder to older ones!) a copy of the Dress Code is attached below.
  2. In submitting an entry to this tournament, a player automatically undertakes to commit him/herself to abide by, and be bound by the above Rules and Regulations. Furthermore, all claims of any kind, nature and description are waived.
  3. The Committee reserves the right to amend, repeal, or otherwise modify, in whole, or in part, the above Rules and Regulations.

 

 

DRESS CODE

Players shall dress and present themselves for play in a professional manner. Clean and customarily acceptable tennis attire shall be worn.

(a)            Unacceptable Attire

Sweatshirts, gym shorts, dress shirts, basketball attire, beachwear,    T-shirts or any other inappropriate attire shall not be worn during a match.

(b)            Doubles Teams

Members of a Doubles team shall be dressed in predominantly the same colors.
