Conditions of Play for IBM ITF Junior Circuit 2007

1.       Players Eligible.
For the 18’s, only players born between 1st January 1989 and the 31st December 1994 are eligible. Players may not participate unless they have reached their 13th birthday, by the start of the main draw.
For the 14’s, only players born after 31st December 1992.
Players must submit their passports for scrutiny.

3.       Entries.
This competition shall be open to competitors from all countries. However, the tournament committee reserves the right to give priority to players from the host country/region over other un-ranked, overseas players.

There is one entry fee of US$40 (covering Singles and Doubles).
Only Entries submitted with National Association sanction shall be accepted. Entries must be made in writing, by facsimile or email. It is the responsibility of the sender to verify that the entry has been received.

4.       Sign-in/Registration.

 

5.       Site Details
The Championships will be played on the hard courts of the Jean Pierre Complex, Wrightson Road, Mucurapo.
The 14’s will be played at Country Club, Long Circular Road, Maraval.

6.       Match Conditions.
Wilson balls will be used.
Match Format.
For the 18’s, matches will be the Best of three Tie-Break Sets, unless otherwise approved by the ITF. Play shall continue under lights.
For the 14’s, Round-Robin the first 2 days where a Pro set will be played. Top 2 from each group progresses to a knock-out draw, where they play the best of 3 TB sets.  Play shall continue under lights.
    
7.       Players are expected to attend the Opening and Closing ceremonies, while wearing the sponsor’s T-shirt.

8.       Rules to be observed.

DRESS CODE

Players shall dress and present themselves for play in a professional manner. Clean and customarily acceptable tennis attire shall be worn.

Sweatshirts, gym shorts, dress shirts, basketball attire, beachwear, T-shirts or any other inappropriate attire shall not be worn during a match.

Members of a Doubles team shall be dressed in predominantly the same colors.
